Setup
If you are ready to establish a new SMSF, My SMSF Portal can attend to all aspects of the setup process for you.
If you have not already spoken to a Financial Advisor to see if a SMSF is right for you then you can speak to our partner advisor before you commit to the setup.
We suggest speaking to a Financial Advisor first as some industry, retail and corporate superannuation funds have great insurance policies in place that will cease if you leave the fund. Depending on your age you may not be able to replace these policies.
Our service is designed to help you the client and sometimes a SMSF is not suitable.
Compliance
We offer monthly, quarterly or annual processing. There is no extra cost for monthly or quarterly processing, the annual fee is just spread over the processing period.
We do not lock you into a certain bank, share broker or auditor like most online SMSF providers. We allow all types of investments including property investments and limited recourse borrowing.
We do all of the following;
- Maintaining of the Compliance File
- Financial Statement Preparation
- Tax Return Preparation and Lodgement
- Preparing all annual documents (member statements, minutes, pensions)
- Monthly, Quarterly or Annual Fund Processing
- Arranging for the Audit
- Arranging update of Trust Deed when required
- Online Portal
Activity Statements
If the fund is registered for GST then we will prepare the Annual GST Return. If the fund has to report quarterly then we prepare the quarterly Business Activity Statements together with the quarterly processing.
Pensions
If you wish to start a pension then we prepare all the required documentation and calculations.
If you need advice on whether or not to start a pension you can meet with our partner Financial Advisor.
BDN
If you wish to make Binding Death Benefit Nominations then we can prepare the appropriate paperwork for either 3 year lapsing or non-lapsing nominations.
Deed Updates
We will arrange for updates to your deed as required.
